20 Aug How to pack for travelling
If you are planning a travelling trip, perhaps for a week holiday or for a hiking trip to get out and about and enjoy the outdoors, there are a number of things that you will want to think about to get the most out of your time away.
Location – deciding where you are going to go should be the first thing that you do. There are some places that you might want to visit during certain times of the year and others that might require a little longer planning.
Timing – look at when the popular holiday seasons are for your location and depending on why you are travelling, you might want to avoid these times of year. There are also some times of year where locations, based on their climate, might not be as attractive to visit.
Clothing – once you have picked your location and when you are going to travel you can start working out what clothing you need to take with you. If you are travelling to cooler climates you can’t go wrong with taking some Aran Sweaters like the ones from Shamrock Gift with you to help keep you warm. Equally if you are heading to a hit sunny destination you will want to take lots of cool clothing options.
Location requirements – there are some locations that will require you to carry certain identification or visa and others that might need you to have had certain vaccinations such as Yellow Fever.
